Studies show that a tooth restored by the CEREC system has 103% to 115% of the strength of a "virgin" tooth!
CEREC is a combination of a computer, camera and milling machine that can precisely mill a block of porcelain into a restoration with a better fit than one fabricated in a laboratory.

CEREC technology allows us to provide a superior fit and function for crowns, inlays and onlays in only one appointment with biocompatible porcelains.
This is made possible by utilizing a state-of-the-art CAD/CAM CEREC
System, which fabricates restorations with a computerized
milling process using Biocompatible dental materials.
Bonded Porcelain Inlay: is a small porcelain filling that covers the grooves of the teeth.
Bonded Porcelain Onlay: is a larger porcelain filling that covers one or more cusps or corners of a tooth.
|
| Bonded Porcelain Ceramic Inlays and Onlays have advantages over other filling materials because they add strength to the tooth. Porcelain is also harder and more durable than white composite fillings. When an inlay or onlay is bonded to a tooth, it creates a resilient, tight seal against bacteria and can be custom coloured to match the teeth. |

CEREC Crowns (known as "caps")
Crowns are dental restorations (known as "caps") which cover and fit over a tooth, replacing most of its enamel. By surrounding the tooth it provides strength and a strong durable biting surface. Crowns are used to restore tooth fractures, old fillings that are failing, root canals, and chipped or sensitive teeth. Crowns may also be used to improve the appearance of natural teeth that are malformed, malpositioned or discoloured.
